Merge is a regulated stablecoin payments infrastructure platform enabling enterprises to move money globally in real time. We combine stablecoin rails with local instant payment systems to deliver faster, cheaper, and more transparent cross-border payments and treasury workflows. Merge serves fintech companies, investment platforms, marketplaces, and corporate treasury teams globally, helping them improve cross-border payments, liquidity management, FX execution, and treasury operations.

Role Overview

This role will own demand generation, positioning, and go-to-market strategy targeting fintech companies, regulated financial institutions, and multinational corporations, with a focus on corporate treasurers at multinational organizations. We are seeking an exceptional Marketing Lead to lead Merge’s global marketing strategy and execution. This role owns the brand narrative, demand generation engine, product marketing, and industry presence that will position Merge as the leading stablecoin cross-border payments platform worldwide. The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-oriented — comfortable building scalable systems for awareness, acquisition, and lifecycle engagement in a fast-moving fintech.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand & Market Leadership
    • Develop and execute a global brand strategy across thought leadership, research, and media channels.
    • Build a strong executive voice through articles, reports, awards, and partnerships.
    • Establish Merge as the most trusted and recognizable brand powering seamless stablecoin-to-fiat payment infrastructure for businesses worldwide.
    • Grow engagement across owned and earned channels, driving measurable increases in reach and brand recall.
    • Build positioning and messaging that resonates with modern fintech, AI, crypto, and global payments audiences.
  • Demand Generation & Growth Marketing
    • Build a high-performance inbound engine that drives qualified enterprise leads and pipeline contribution across regions.
    • Develop and manage multi-channel campaigns that span content, digital, and event marketing.
    • Develop media outreach, and AI / LLM optimized publication strategies to improve visibility, and authority.
  • Product & Content Marketing
    • Develop sharp, founder-style storytelling around payments, compliance, stablecoins, VASP/CASP infrastructure, and cross-border finance.
    • Deliver a cohesive enablement suite — from case studies to sales playbooks — that improves conversion and sales efficiency.
    • Translate product innovation into compelling narratives for customers, partners, and media.
    • Use AI tools and data-driven experimentation to move fast, optimize campaigns, and scale efficiently.
  • Leadership
    • Collaborate with product, compliance, and leadership teams to ensure accurate and compelling messaging.
    • Manage agencies, freelancers, creators, and external marketing partners where needed.
    • Take ownership, move fast, and help shape the voice and growth engine of the company.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in B2B marketing.
  • First principles thinking to deploy strategies that are appropriate for the challenges at hand.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presence.
  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and event strategies globally.
  • Strong operational discipline with comfort navigating analytics, CRM, and funnel metrics.
  • Comfortable using AI tools for content, research, campaign optimization, and workflow efficiency.
  • Ability to think like an operator — not just execute campaigns, but build and scale the marketing function.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across sales, product, compliance, and leadership teams.
  • Someone ambitious, internet-native, creative, and excited to build for the next generation of global finance.
  • Established relationships across fintech communities, founders, media publications, influencers, and strategic growth partners would be a significant advantage.
