As a key member of our Investment Operations Team, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across the full spectrum of operational processes that keep our business running smoothly. From application processing and client data updates to cash matching, post‑distribution, document management and client withdrawals, you’ll be at the heart of delivering exceptional service.

The Operations function is split into five specialist teams – Cash Management, Client Onboarding, Client Account Operations, Settlements, and Middle Office – and you’ll have the opportunity to rotate across four of these areas, building a broad skill set and deep understanding of our end‑to‑end processes. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same, offering variety, challenge, and the chance to develop your career in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing client redemption requests
  • Managing client and adviser updates
  • Handling cash management tasks
  • Processing deceased accounts
  • Settling stock and cash transactions
  • Managing VCT buyback processes
  • Processing applications
  • Resolving reconciliation breaks
  • Supporting corporate actions
  • Transaction reporting
  • Handling legal documentation

What you'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a financial services organisation, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements would be beneficial
  • Financial qualifications desirable but not required (IOC, IMC, CII)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Focus: When volumes spike, we need someone who can concentrate and commit fully to getting the job done.

This role is a 12-month contract, covering maternity leave.
