Our Cargo charter team work around the clock to organise and arrange charters for their clients to help move their shipments quickly and securely. This is a fast paced sales role that requires a quick thinker who is able to build and develop sustainable relationships with clients, whilst problem solving complex issues. Joining the company as a trainee, you will be assigned a mentor who will work closely with you in your first 7 months as you become familiar with the role and industry. During this time, you will see first-hand what goes into ensuring a charter goes off with ease. Becoming a broker in our cargo department gives you the opportunity to travel to countries well off the beaten path and to experience things in aviation that you never knew were possible, all while solving complex problems using the in-depth knowledge that you will learn from our best in class training.
Qualifications
- Must have previous experience working in either sales / account management / business development
- Previous experience working in Airfreight / freight forwarding is desirable
- Must be educated to degree level
- Client focused with the ability to build strong relationships
- Exceptional communication skills - fluency in a second language is an advantage
- Ambitious, motivated and willing to learn new skills & industry
- Hardworking and flexible, this role is not simply 9-5
- Organised with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Comfortable working towards KPIs and targets
- Strong resilience with the ability to thrive working under pressure
- MUST be able to travel frequently & often at short notice
- Must hold a valid UK drivers license
