Keeping our network of hiring clients, suppliers, and contractors compliant with the standards that matter most, from health and safety and sustainability to ethical behaviour by building best in class solutions.

We’re looking for a UK Finance Manager to support the UK Financial Controller across accounting, reporting, audits, tax, and internal controls. This role sits at the centre of the UK finance function and plays a key part in keeping the numbers accurate, compliant, and on time.

What That Means Day To Day

  • Preparation of UK statutory financial statements and acting as a key contact for UK statutory and non‑statutory audits
  • Support and management of the month‑end close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Ownership of technical accounting areas including finance leases, fixed assets, acquisitions, and foreign currency transactions
  • Oversight of UK tax requirements and treasury activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
  • Strengthening financial controls and processes, supporting system changes, and resolving complex accounting issues

What You’Ll Need To Be Successful

This role suits a qualified accountant who is comfortable working at pace, close to the detail, and across multiple accounting topics. Strong technical foundations, a proactive mindset, and confidence working with stakeholders across finance are essential. Attention to detail is critical, alongside the ability to identify opportunities to improve controls, processes, and automation. The role requires balancing routine reporting with complex accounting work and change activity.

Essential requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Experience working within a finance team in a hands‑on accounting role
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem‑solving approach

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience with finance lease accounting
  • Experience in technical accounting
  • Data automation experience
  • Team management experience

What You'Ll Get In Return

We have a hybrid workplace policy, where you will work from the office 3 days per week. Plus our Cardiff office is dog‑friendly – expect a few friendly paws around the place! We want you to be able to do your best work here. We emphasize providing many ways to support our team to do their best work and below are some of the perks and benefits we offer:

  • Enhanced Parental Leave
  • Generous annual leave
  • Healthcare Plan
  • Annual Giving Day – an extra day to give back to yourself or your community
  • Cycle‑to‑work Scheme

  • LinkedIn Learning License for upskilling & development

Interested but don’t feel you meet all the requirements? Our recruitment team assesses and reviews all applications against the role and business needs. We believe in people having transferable and soft skills and want you to know that we do consider where an individual might not meet all the criteria, but have the aptitude and capability, nonetheless. Our priority is to ensure we set people up for success. We will make a final call based on our determination of whether we can offer the necessary support to upskill or provide the developmental support needed for you to get the best out of this opportunity with us!

Bring Your Whole Self to Work. We are proudly an equal‑opportunity employer. We are committed to ensuring that no candidate is discriminated against because of gender identity and expression, race, disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, colour, region, creed, national origin, or sex.
