We are looking for a talented Repair Engineer to cover South West and South Wales, ideally suited for an engineer living in Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Cardiff, Newport, Gloucester, Cheltenham, and most of Somerset and the surrounding areas. You will carry out minor refurbishment works across a diverse range of passenger lifts, vertical access lifts, and moving walkways from multiple manufacturers.
In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality repair and refurbishment services while supporting business objectives and ensuring exceptional service delivery standards are met. Your work will play a vital role in maintaining safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction across a varied portfolio of equipment.
The role reports into the Bristol Service Branch, where you’ll be part of a supportive and well-established team. If you're a qualified Lift Repair Engineer looking for a fresh challenge in a forward-thinking company, we want to hear from you.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am till 16:45 and Friday 8:00 till 15:45
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Bristol Branch, you will be responsible for carrying out minor repairs on a wide range of lifts across our portfolio.
- Ensure high-quality service and safety standards.
- Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site log cards.
- Support the training of apprentices and trainee engineers, using your experience to bring through the next generation of engineers.
Requirements:
- An NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Lift Engineer and in minor repairs.
- A valid UK driving licence.
