SmithsGroup is currently engaged in a new data governance plan and as such we require an MDM Analyst to join the team. This position requires experience and business knowledge in the definition and management of the different Master Data elements in SAP ECC. These include customer, vendor, material master and finance master data. An end-to-end understanding of the different datasets, and how they relate to other data elements and business processes, will be critical for guiding various teams in managing master data scenarios. This position requires experience in collecting business requirements and creating detailed functional solutions documentation. Experience in coordinating testing with business users and capturing change.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for script creation/maintenance in Winshuttle Studio.
- Responsible for Evolve forms and workflow creation/maintenance, end to end testing of solutions, as well as promoting them from non-prod to prod environments.
- Responsible for setting up users, assigning licenses and assigning/maintaining groups.
- Maintain knowledge and experience of SAP S4/HANA.
- Create, review, and maintain quality documentation (Business process documents, process flows, forms, testing and procedures, etc.).
- Continue to look for and drive process improvements.
- Solve and understand how our processes work within Evolve and SAP.
- Takes work direction from the Master Data Management Manager/Supervisor and Data Governance Business Partners.
- Highlight needs for new business rules, standards, or policy.
- Effectively work across operational needs and project work.
- Enable improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization policies and standards, principles, processes and data.
Qualifications Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience with solution scoping, development and delivery with Winshuttle/Evolve Studio, Composer and Foundation.
- SAP ERP, Power BI knowledge.
- Excel – Intermediate to Advanced level.
- Excellent data analytical skills.
- Problem solving ability.
- Ability to solve complex problems.
- Should have experience in SAP implementation with Winshuttle as data load tool into SAP ECC.
- Should have extensively worked on Winshuttle Transaction, Winshuttle Query and Winshuttle Direct.
- Responsible throughout design, development, testing, loading and reconciliation.
- Should be hands‑on with development techniques.
- Experience with communicating across different process areas, geographies, workforces and technical expertise.
- Experience in providing technical support, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and facilitating unit testing.
- Experience in web form development of complex workflows on Composer is a must.
- Advanced Excel and VBA macro scripting is a must.
- SQL knowledge is an added advantage.
- Basic programming skills are required, preferably .NET C#.
- Experience with SAP Data Migration tools, ETL and other data migration tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of data structures in SAP FI/SD/MM modules is an advantage.
- Experience developing third party application (.Net C#) using Winshuttle/Evolve APIs is an advantage.
- Candidate should have good communication skills.
