Job Details
We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-experienced Maintenance Manager to join our thriving manufacturing team. This pivotal role is responsible for the overall management of our maintenance operations to ensure maximum production quantity and quality while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company. This position requires a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of preventive maintenance, equipment maintenance, PLC Programming, Hydraulic Systems, electrical systems, Troubleshooting, Inventory Management, safety, HMI, and Allen Bradley PLC.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for all equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production and processing machinery, equipment, and systems.
- Manage and coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Design and implement safety measures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Utilize PLC Programming and HMI for the automation and control of various processes within the manufacturing facility.
- Manage inventory of equipment parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained for necessary repairs and replacements.
- Troubleshoot complex equipment issues using knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Train and guide team members on equipment maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Regularly inspect and evaluate physical plant and facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with preventive maintenance, equipment maintenance, PLC Programming, Hydraulic Systems, electrical systems, Troubleshooting, Inventory Management, safety, HMI, and Allen Bradley PLC.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficient in using computer software and applications for inventory management, scheduling, and reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.
