We are recruiting for an experienced Legionella Responsible Person / Water Hygiene Manager to join a busy NHS Facilities Management team. This is a key compliance role responsible for ensuring safe and compliant operation of healthcare water systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Legionella Responsible Person (Water RP)
  • Ensure compliance of hot & cold-water systems
  • Ensure compliance with HSG 274 & HTM 04-01
  • Manage Legionella & Pseudomonas sampling
  • Review water results and implement corrective actions
  • Supervise water hygiene engineers
  • Produce compliance reports and maintain records

Requirements:

  • Experience as Water Hygiene / Legionella Responsible Person (RP)
  • Strong knowledge of HSG 274 & HTM 04-01
  • Experience with commercial or healthcare water systems
  • Ability to interpret water sampling results
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong compliance and reporting skills

Desirable

  • NHS / healthcare FM experience
  • Plumbing or building services background
  • Experience improving water hygiene compliance processes
