Skilled tradesman/woman (Carpentry bias) in Central London

Role Details:

1. Location: Central London (W1 Area)
2. Start Date: Monday 7th April
3. Duration: Ongoing
4. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40-50hrs per week with a start time of 8am
5. Pay Rate: negotiable due to the works that are carried out

We are seeking a reliable, skilled tradesman/woman (Carpentry bias) in Central London for one of our clients who makes Acoustic products for customers across the UK and globally.

Role Overview:

As a reliable, skilled tradesman/woman (Carpentry bias), we are looking for operatives who hold a qualification in carpentry, mainly 2nd fix, to build and make these bespoke products for their clients. This is a very niche market and has lots of potential for people in this company to grow and learn. If you do not have a qualification in Carpentry but have handyman/woman skills, we would still like to hear from you, as we are looking for people who are willing to learn and are passionate about building high-end bespoke acoustic products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. 2nd fix carpentry knowledge and experience is essential
2. Qualification in 2nd fix or even 1st fix would be an advantage
3. The right candidate MUST have the right attitude to turn up every day and be happy to come to work
4. Experience in working within a workshop would also be an advantage
5. Ability to read drawings and understand design would also be an advantage

Requirements:

1. Qualification in 2nd fix or even 1st fix would be an advantage
2. PPE will be provided.
3. Strong attention to safety and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
