Site Manager - Building & Refurbishment

JobMatcha are looking for a dedicated Site Manager – Building & Refurbishment with solid experience in managing building projects, who can take ownership of multiple jobs across Kent and occasionally beyond. You\’ll be working closely with the company director, subcontractors, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery from start to finish. Key Responsibilities: * Carrying out regular site inspections and overseeing day-to-day site activities * Ensuring all works are carried out safely, in line with H&S regulations (SMSTS or SSSTS required) * Managing subcontractors and coordinating their schedules * Ordering materials, tracking deliveries and managing stock * Monitoring progress against programme and budgets * Preparing reports and applying for project variations when necessary * Liaising with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle * Identifying and resolving issues quickly and efficiently * Maintaining clear and accurate documentation across all projects. Key Skills: * Proven experience in a Site Manager – Building & Refurbishment role within the construction or refurbishment sector * Excellent communication and organisational skills * NVQ, HNC or Degree required * SMSTS or SSSTS certification (essential) * Strong understanding of construction processes and building regulations * Ability to manage multiple jobs at different stages * Full UK driving licence (essential) * IT literacy (for reporting, email, ordering materials etc.) Benefits: * 24hr management support * Paid weekly and payroll support * Company Car * Company mobile phone and Laptop * Opportunity to grow within the business If interested in the role of Site Manager – Building & Refurbishment, then please apply ASAP
