We are currently recruiting for an Asphalt Mixer Operative to join a busy asphalt production plant on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term role with a well-established business.
Duties:
- Operate and monitor the asphalt mixing plant
- Carry out routine inspections and basic plant maintenance
- Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards
- Complete production records and support daily operations
Requirements:
- Experience in an asphalt, quarrying, manufacturing or process plant environment is preferred
- Good mechanical aptitude and understanding of health & safety
- Reliable, proactive and able to work rotating day and night shifts
- Mobile plant experience (Loading Shovel, Telehandler or FLT) is advantageous
