We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineering Manager to lead an electrical design function within a building services consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design across commercial & residential projects
- Design and review LV/HV systems, lighting, small power, telecoms, CCTV and fire alarms
- Ensure compliance with BS7671, CIBSE and CDM regulations
- Produce and review drawings using AutoCAD, Revit or similar
- Carry out site surveys and technical reporting
- Lead and mentor engineers and junior staff
- Manage budgets, resources and project delivery performance
- Support client engagement, bids and business development
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
- Chartered Engineer (CEng - IET or equivalent)
- 12+ years' UK building services experience
- 5+ years in a senior/leadership role
- Strong knowledge of UK electrical design standards
- Client-facing experience and strong communication skills
