We are currently recruiting for Lantra Traffic Management Operatives to join a busy highways maintenance team working across Gloucestershire Highways. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with traffic management experience looking for a long-term position with training and career development opportunities.
The role is based from the Gloucestershire depot and involves supporting the safe setup, maintenance, and removal of traffic management systems on highway projects throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities- Installation, maintenance and removal of temporary traffic management.
- Working safely on highways and road networks.
- Assisting with traffic control and site safety.
- Driving company vehicles to and from work locations.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Supporting highways maintenance operations as required.
- Lantra M1 & M2 qualification (minimum requirement).
- Previous traffic management experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to drive a 3.5-tonne van.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points on licence.
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- £13.78 per hour PAYE.
- Overtime paid after 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
- Full training provided, including LGV driver training opportunities.
- Temp-to-perm career opportunity.
- Immediate starts available.
