JML JobMatcha are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Walking Floor Driver for ongoing long-term work based in the Thurrock area.
Responsibilities
- Driving and operating a Class 1 (C+E) walking floor vehicle/trailer
- Operating hydraulic walking floor controls safely and efficiently
- Transporting and unloading bulk materials
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Working closely with site teams and transport management
- Following all site health and safety procedures
- Completing all relevant transport and delivery documentation
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous walking floor / moving floor experience preferred
- Good understanding of vehicle safety, compliance and drivers' hours regulations
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
