We are recruiting for an experienced Legionella Responsible Person / Water Hygiene Manager to join a busy NHS Facilities Management team. This is a key compliance role responsible for ensuring safe and compliant operation of healthcare water systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Legionella Responsible Person (Water RP)
- Ensure compliance of hot & cold-water systems
- Ensure compliance with HSG 274 & HTM 04-01
- Manage Legionella & Pseudomonas sampling
- Review water results and implement corrective actions
- Supervise water hygiene engineers
- Produce compliance reports and maintain records
Requirements:
- Experience as Water Hygiene / Legionella Responsible Person (RP)
- Strong knowledge of HSG 274 & HTM 04-01
- Experience with commercial or healthcare water systems
- Ability to interpret water sampling results
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong compliance and reporting skills
Desirable
- NHS / healthcare FM experience
