We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor delivering a long-term public sector facilities management contract within a regulated secure environment. This is a strong opportunity for a commercially focused QS to take ownership of cost control, financial reporting, and contract administration across lifecycle maintenance and project works on a live operational site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full commercial management of FM and maintenance works
  • Preparation of valuations, variations, and monthly cost reports
  • Forecasting, cashflow management, and financial performance reporting
  • Managing applications, invoicing, and payment processes
  • NEC and/or JCT contract administration and compliance
  • Identifying commercial risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Producing accurate financial data for senior stakeholder reporting
  • Liaising with client representatives, supply chain, and operational teams
  • Supporting continuous improvement and commercial efficiency initiatives

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Strong background in commercial management, cost control, or FM contracts
  • Experience working with NEC and/or JCT contracts
  • Strong financial reporting, forecasting, and analytical skills
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Willingness to undergo Basic DBS and MOJ vetting (assistance provided)

Desirable

  • Previous experience in Facilities Management or lifecycle / maintenance contracts
  • Exposure to public sector or regulated environments
  • Understanding of cost efficiency / lean commercial practices
