CAD Operator 📍 Location: Stratford, London 🏠 Working: Generally remote, with regular visits to the client’s Stratford office — typically 2 days per week 📅 Duration: Approx. 4 months 💰 Rate: Up to £50ph Umbrella / £38.56ph PAYE 🕒 Hours: 8 working hours per day, Monday to Friday (excluding lunch) JML JobMatcha are currently recruiting for an experienced CAD Operator to join a project based in Stratford, London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CAD professional to work as part of an established team, with the flexibility of predominantly remote working. The Role You will be responsible for 3D CAD modelling and drawing production, primarily updating existing models and drawings based on mark-ups and instructions provided by design engineers. You will work as part of a team of CAD Operators, reporting directly to the CAD Team Lead. Key Responsibilities * 3D CAD modelling and drawing production * Updating existing models and drawings from engineering mark-ups * Working closely with design engineers and the wider CAD team * Producing accurate drawings to project requirements * Working within the client's Common Data Environment (CDE) * Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy Software Experience with the following software is highly desirable: * Bentley MicroStation * OpenBuildings Designer * OpenRoads Designer * Bentley ProjectWise * Other associated Bentley software Working Hours 8 working hours per day, Monday to Friday, excluding lunch. Start and finish times can be varied to suit the individual by agreement. Requirements * Proven experience working as a CAD Operator * Strong 3D CAD modelling and drawing production experience * Experience working from engineering mark-ups * Experience with Bentley CAD software preferred * Ability to work effectively as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Able to attend the Stratford office approximately twice per week
