JML are recruiting for a Technology Engineer for Roadside Technology.
Reporting into the Assistant PM who reports into the PM
MUST HAVE a background in installation or maintenance of electrical or electronic equipment, for example traffic lights
On offer is
- a salary of 31-40k + car
- Overtime available
- Variable shift pattern - Ad hoc weekends and nights
- Travel needed across the network
- Candidate will be subject to DBS checks
Duties include
Carry out installation, maintenance, and commissioning works on a variety of Highways Roadside Technology Equipment, working with the Ringway team and specialist subcontractors.
Ensure all safety, environmental, and quality obligations are met, while fulfilling the needs of clients and stakeholders.
- Work safely and promote a safe environment for all operations and personnel.
- Carry out installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities on all equipment.
- Undertake software, hardware, and systems testing.
- Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and produce required documentation.
- Support the Assistant Project Manager with planning and delivery of projects/tasks.
- Oversee operational teams and subcontractors on site to meet productivity and quality targets.
