We are currently recruiting an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations on a busy civils project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising groundworks and civils teams on site
- Coordinating daily activities to ensure work is completed safely and to programme
- Promoting and maintaining high health & safety standards
- Liaising with site management and subcontractors
- Monitoring productivity and quality of work
- Conducting site briefings and toolbox talks
- Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Hands-on approach, willing to support the team when needed
Requirements:
- SSSTS (essential)
- Gold CSCS Card
- Proven supervisory experience within civils/groundworks
- Strong understanding of drainage, ducting, excavation, sub-base works, and road construction
Desirable:
- CAT & Genny
- First Aid at Work
- Safe Dig Training
