Job Details

JobMatcha are recruiting for an experienced M&E site manager with Strong M&E Design and Installation Knowledge for a fit out project in HMPPS NORWICH ELIZABETH. NP1

Key Information for the M&E site manager position :

  • 10 Hours per day on site and paid
  • £280-320 per day
  • Location Norwich NR1 4LU
  • Working hours – 07:30 to 16:30 Mon – Thur and Friday 07:30 to 16:00 but maybe required cover weekend shifts and evenings
  • Start ASAP
  • Min 4 months work

Competencies and Requirements for the M&E site manager position:

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK
  • Previous M&E site manager experience is essential
  • Proven expertise in mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems design, specification, and installation.
  • Ability to critically review contractor installations, ensuring compliance with project requirements, regulations, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in construction programme management, including interpreting and managing complex project schedules
  • Skilled in programme sequencing, identifying critical path activities, and understanding interdependencies across trades and phases.
  • Ability to challenge and validate contractor programmes, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deliverables. Must Have 3. Proven Track Record in Programme Acceleration
  • Experience in developing and implementing acceleration strategies to recover lost time or bring forward key deliverables.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for resequencing or parallel working to optimise delivery. • Strong communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and drive programme improvements
