About the Role

We’re seeking a Part‑Qualified Accountant to work closely with the Group Financial Controller. You will take responsibility for Management Reporting, Intercompany reconcilations and audit support. Applicants will require: At least part‑qualified, ideally towards the latter stages of ACCA or CIMA, Solid Excel skills to include Pivot Tables and Vlookups. At least 3 years\’ experience in an accounting role. Any experience in an international and/or multi‑entity business would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the month‑end process for the main trading entity, including full P&L preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Managing month end close activities, including processing and posting of invoices, journals, and recharges across the group.
  • Performing Capex adjustments and ensuring accurate month end reporting.
  • Carrying out bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Setting up and processing supplier payments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Uploading and maintaining accurate financial data for group level consolidated reporting.
  • Work with Group Financial Controller to provide support for Audit & Corporation Tax.
  • Take full ownership and responsibility to submit VAT returns for the Group.
  • Identify and implement efficiencies across finance processes, leveraging automation and system enhancements where possible.
  • Provide support to the wider finance team on systems usage and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Part Qualified studying towards a Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Proficient in complex data analysis and financial modelling.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to troubleshoot financial data and systems, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Comfortable working with stakeholders across functions and geographies, translating technical insights into clear business outcomes.
  • ERP/CRM Experience: Familiarity with ERP and CRM tools (preferably NetSuite and HubSpot) is ideal.
  • Dutch/German speaking an advantage.
  • SaaS Industry Experience: Not essential, but advantageous.
