Technical Operative (Temporary with Potential for Permanent) START ASAP £12.75 per Hour O/T available Late shift 14:00pm to 22:30pm Early shift 06:00am to 14:30pm. We are currently seeking a dedicated technical operative for a temporary position that may lead to a permanent role. This is your chance to be part of a cutting-edge environment that produces high-specification components and structures for aerospace and defence. What You’ll Be Doing: As a Technical Operative, you’ll engage in various hands-on tasks within a production facility. While training will be provided for each task, having a background in engineering or manufacturing will be beneficial. Your key responsibilities will include: Cutting and kitting carbon fibre raw material Laying up carbon fibre materials into mould tools Releasing carbon composite components from moulds Cleaning, sealing, and applying release agents to mould tools Maintaining a tidy and organised work area Completing relevant paperwork accurately Assisting various production departments with tasks such as manual lifting, fitting, gluing, machine maintenance, and packaging What We’re Looking For: To succeed in this role, you should possess strong communication skills, be a quick learner, and apply your knowledge effectively. Being a team player, punctual, and able to work under pressure while maintaining a relaxed approach are essential qualities. Familiarity with computers and MS Office is a plus.
