Registered Strategic Manager – Care & Support Lead with purpose. Make a difference in your community. A pivotal role has become available for a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a dynamic domiciliary care service, delivering high-quality, person-centred support across Cornwall.. You’ll be responsible for a large, region-wide team, overseeing the delivery of regulated care to help individuals remain safe, independent, and well-supported in their own homes. This is a leadership role with real scope to drive improvement, manage change, and shape the future of care delivery. Your role will involve: * Leading and developing a team of supervisors, schedulers, and over 100 support staff. * Ensuring high-quality, compliant service delivery aligned with CQC standards. * Managing performance, budgets, and resources to meet business and care objectives. * Promoting innovation, continuous improvement, and technology-enabled care. * Working collaboratively with stakeholders to meet local care needs and strategic goals. We’re looking for someone who is: * An inspiring leader experienced in managing diverse teams and promoting a positive workplace culture. * Organised and strategic able to plan, problem-solve, and manage a high-performing service. * Quality driven –committed to achieving and maintaining CQC-rated Good or Outstanding care. * Commercially aware capable of balancing care excellence with financial growth targets. * Client and community focused driven to deliver outcomes that truly improve lives. Essential requirements: * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent). * Minimum 3 years’ experience managing regulated domiciliary care services. * Prior registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). * Knowledge of social care regulation and safeguarding frameworks. * Budget management experience and ability to lead through change. * Strong communication, IT, and relationship-building skills. * Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel throughout the county.
