The Role
- Receive and complete work orders efficiently and accurately
- Carry out MOT tests in line with Ministry standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Rectify faults and mechanical failures
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance
- Read and interpret service manuals
- Maintain strict safety standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
- MOT Tester licence, or the ambition to train as an MOT Tester
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Technical expertise in engines, braking systems and suspension
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills when explaining repairs and MOT outcomes
- A customer-focused approach
- Good working knowledge of the MOT testing guide
