Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll related activities including calculation of gross and net pay, deductions, and other payroll-related adjustments, claims reimbursement.
- Ensure accurate and compliant payroll tax and statutory contributions.
- Liaise with employees to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records and documentation.
- Assist with the preparation of payroll reports and analysis.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and requirements.
- Interface with HR customers handling payroll queries.
- Support billing operations such as customer billing.
- Ensure billing timeliness and accuracy.
- Manage onboarding and new hire and offboarding process (preparation of agreement, negotiations of benefits, involvement in work pass applications).
- Work closely with customers to handle employee related issues which encompass counseling, grievances process, disciplinary and termination.
- Follow-up on staff renewal, performance, etc.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources / Business Administration / Accountancy with 1 to 2 years experience in payroll processing.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act would be an added advantage.
- Able to work independently on a broad variety of projects.
- Good professional appearance.
- Strong level of influence and negotiation skills.
