The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual who will be responsible for leading and maintaining the Healthcare Quality Management System (QMS) at the TFP Simply clinic and associated satellites. You will be responsible for implementing a robust quality system to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of the service provided in accordance with the conditions of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) and other relevant regulatory bodies. These conditions must also comply with the guidance on good practice as set out in the HFEA’s Code of Practice and all relevant clinical and laboratory directives.

The role includes responsibility for:

  • TFP Simply Incident management
  • Non-conformances
  • User satisfaction
  • Internal and external auditing systems
  • KPI / Objective monitoring
  • Assistance with TFP Simply complaint handling
  • Implementation of the continual improvement processes for this clinic

You will be a valued member of the TFP Simply management team and a champion of all things Quality. In terms of the wider TFP Group, you will also be a member of the TFP quality team working on Group level projects and initiatives.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) with 1 day per week from home.

The Location

Thames Valley Fertility (TVF) was established in 2017, and due to the passion, expertise and reputation of our team, has already grown into a leading fertility clinic. Providing treatment to both NHS and private patients, TVF performs approximately 400 fresh cycles and 400 frozen cycles per year. Offering a full suite of treatment and diagnostic services, including PGT. Conveniently located on the outskirts of Maidenhead, adjacent to junction 8/9 of the M4, there is ample free parking for staff and patients at the front of the building.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and managing quality, risk and governance strategies within the clinic and its satellites
  • Maintaining the HFEA licence
  • Developing and monitoring the quality policy, quality objectives and quality indicators
  • Internal and external auditing, user satisfaction and complaints management
  • Incident management: investigation, corrective and preventative actions
  • Training, communicating, monitoring and motivating all staff to support the QMS

Qualifications and Training:

  • Degree or equivalent post graduate diploma and/or experience
  • Recognised management qualification and/or healthcare experience
  • Using and managing Quality Management Systems and Risk Management processes and practice, including risk assessment and incident investigation
  • Conducting and preparing for audit
  • Experience in using QMS software
  • Document control experience
  • Proven competency in managing complaints
  • Background in developing policies and procedures
  • Skilled in project management
  • Experience of working within a complex organisational environment

Location: TFP Thames Valley Fertility - Maidenhead

Hours: Full Time (37.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday, 1 work from home day per week)

Salary: Competitive (Experience dependent)

Pension: Dual Contribution scheme

Holiday Entitlement: 27 Days + Bank holidays (pro rata)
