Job Overview
Macrobond is looking for a Sales Executive to join the Sales Continental team.
In this key role you will be driving both new business and expanding relationships with existing clients.
You will be responsible for positioning Macrobond’s comprehensive economic and financial data solutions to meet the needs of investment professionals, government institutions, and corporate clients across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Development: Proactively target and acquire new clients by identifying market trends and key industry opportunities.
Present Macrobond’s platform capabilities to prospects, demonstrating the value of our integrated data and analysis tools.
- Sales
Strategy: Develop and execute a regional sales plan that aligns with Macrobond’s global strategy.
Leverage market intelligence to identify opportunities in specific sectors, regions, or themes that align with Macrobond’s data offerings.
- Solution
Selling: Understand client challenges and requirements to offer tailored solutions using Macrobond’s data products, including API integrations and automated workflows.
Provide demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and support in closing deals.
- Collaboration: Work alongside the marketing, product, and research teams to ensure clients have access to Macrobond’s chart packs, thematic analysis, and weekly market insights
- Required Qualifications and experience
- Hands-on strategic B2B sales experience, preferably within Saa S
- Experienced, proactive and strategic solutions sales professional with a track record of success selling software or data driven solutions to the investment community, ideally, economists, analysts and strategist from banks and asset owners and managers
- Track record of achieving/exceeding sales quota and market share goals.
- Excellent networking ability.
- Skilled Solution seller with proven ability to build win-win proposals.

- Proven track record and extensive client network in the DACH Region (Buyside and Sell Side)
- Driven and self-motivated and the desire to work in a high-performance culture with continual development
- An ability to define and communicate a compelling value proposition
- Experience selling within a complex sales cycle preferred over transactional sales experience
- Desire to learn and personally demo the Macrobond platform to prospects, and build existing knowledge of macroeconomics and financial markets
- An excellent long-term relationship builder, with the ability to initiate and sustain relationships with large, medium, and small sized prospective customers.
- A team player with the ability to work collaboratively with disparate international teams, as well as work independently
- Ability to manage priorities and effectively time manage with flexible approach.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Full professional proficiency in German
