A prestigious investment management firm has a unique opportunity for an Investment Director to join one of their leading investment teams. This is a client-facing position with two direct reports. The Investment Director will be a key representative for the team’s fixed income strategies and work closely with product, investments, and client teams. Our client is looking for a bright, inquisitive, and collaborative individual for this opportunity. Role responsibilities include: Act as an ambassador and advocate for the investment team in front of clients, media, and internal stakeholders. Engage with clients and lead in meetings to communicate investment philosophy, strategy, and performance. Work closely with marketing and client teams to oversee effective messaging of strategies and sign off collateral. Conduct performance attribution and risk analysis. Assist with product strategy/development and management for the team’s strategies. Develop content to highlight portfolio positioning, market trends, and optimize competitive positioning. Key requirements for the role: 8+ years’ experience in the investment management industry. Experience working in a similar fixed income position is required for this role. CFA qualified (or currently studying towards). Comfortable presenting and communicating on a regular basis to clients and senior stakeholders. Ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
