Due to the company’s continuing growth, we require an Electrical Estimator to strengthen the existing Work Winning team.Location: LondonAbout the roleWe are seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic Work Winning team in a hybrid role based at our London Office. In this role, you will play a crucial part in winning new projects by preparing accurate prime cost estimates for the Electrical components of our bids.Key responsibilitiesSupporting the Estimating team with Electrical bids and tendersPreparing and submitting prime cost estimates utilising Enterprise Estimating SoftwareLiaising with internal and external engineers, consultants and subcontractors to construct and formulate estimates and resolve issuesAnalysing drawings, specifications and other documentation to prepare estimates.Identifying and providing alternative design proposals, solutions and value engineering optionsEstablishing and maintaining tendering processes and conducting negotiations.Preparing and maintaining a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors.Supporting and encouraging junior team membersMonitoring targets and workflowControlling and organising tender documentation.Tracking and reporting on analytics on a variety of campaigns, internal communications, and social media using varied reporting toolsYou will be responsible for all your own workload and for looking after the project you are onYou will also be required to make all of your own decisions and will be expected to show initiative.What you will needExperience working for a Mechanical & Electrical sub-contractor.Proficient in using estimating software packages such as Trimble.Experience in budget/cost planningAdvanced skills in Excel.Ability to analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare estimates.Experience in preparing and submitting prime cost estimates using Trimble Estimating SoftwareCompetitive Salary (depending upon experience)Contributory Company Pension SchemeNon-contributory death-in-service insurance33 Days Holiday including BHDiscounted gym membership across the UKEV charging points where possibleIf you\’re interested in this position, please email your CV to our HR department. #J-18808-Ljbffr
