We are seeking dynamic and proactive scrub staff to join our team at Liverpool Women’s Hospital, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-focused care within our Gynaecology and Obstetrics theatres.We desire forward-thinking, highly motivated practitioners who demonstrate good time management and possess excellent communication skills (verbal, written, electronic). The ability to work cohesively as part of a team is essential.This opportunity is suitable for experienced registered staff – RGN and ODP – with appropriate UK professional registration.Key responsibilities include:Performing as safe and competent clinical members of the theatre team, providing specialised holistic peri-operative care.Contributing to an effective, motivated, and competent workforce to maintain and develop high standards of care.Ensuring the cleanliness of all Operating Theatre areas and equipment at all times.Preparing the Operating Theatre before and after procedures.Participating in out-of-hours on-call rota as required.Performing other duties to support the smooth operation of the Operating Department.Engaging in self-development of skills and competencies.Maintaining a broad understanding of Clinical Support Services and the Trust’s work, contributing ideas for service improvement.Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust provides exceptional care for women, babies, and families, with services including over 7,500 births, 49,000 gynaecological procedures, care for preterm newborns, IVF cycles, and genetic appointments.
