You will be a member of our Agreement Management Europe team for Energy Business customers.The position is permanent, with the preferred location in Ireland, and involves regular travel within the UK.What will you be doingAs a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting customers under LTSA to achieve the highest engine availability and reliability. You will provide expert advice and guidance on technical and operational issues, supporting site attendances for timely and proactive resolution of operational issues, with a focus on customer satisfaction. You will report to the Agreement Manager and work closely with Technical Service L1 and L2 teams.Responsibilities include:Technical follow-up of installations under LTSASupporting customers with troubleshootingProviding expert advice on technical and operational issuesMonitoring TechRequests for agreement installationsCollaborating with Remote Support and Technical Service teamsSupporting agreement managers on technical topicsPlanning FS resources for unplanned jobsQualifications and SkillsGood knowledge of agreement workflowsUnderstanding of TR tools, portals, Wedge applications, cybersecurity, fuel, lube oil, water management, maintenance, operation management, control room, electrical systems, engine control systems, engine knowledge, performance and trend analysis, scheduled maintenance, technical drawings, and flow chartsStrong technical and in-depth knowledge of Wärtsilä engines and auxiliary systems with over 5 years of experience in operations or technical support rolesCost awareness and effectivenessCustomer understanding and technical communication skillsThis role requires travel to customer sites across Italy and Europe, approximately 50% of the time.Why you and us?We believe in empowerment, ownership, and responsibility.
