This includes providing quality instruction for our group and private swim lesson programs and knowledge of teaching methods and course requirements outlined by the American Red Cross Learn to Swim program. Swim instructors must also maintain the proper certifications and physical fitness required by industry standards. All in-service training sessions and staff meetings are mandatory.Primary Responsibilitiesi. Provide quality instruction for our group and private swim lesson programs.ii. Knowledge of teaching methods and course requirements outlined by the American Red Cross Learn to Swim program.iii. Keep records of students and classes taught and report all certifications to the Coordinator of Aquatics.Qualificationsi. Minimum of 1 year teaching swim lessons OR team teaching with another experienced instructor for at least 2-4 sessions.ii.
