This role is critical for account reconciliation, budgeting assistance, and financial statement preparation. The Staff Accountant will work cross-functionally to provide financial insights and support audits and forecasting activities. A successful candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple priorities independently or within a team environment.Duties & TasksReconcile accounts and prepare financial reportsAssist with budgeting and forecasting activitiesSupport internal and external audits by providing necessary documentationEnsure accuracy and compliance in financial statementsCollaborate with departments to deliver financial insightsPrepare journal entries and general ledger adjustmentsPerform monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reconciliationsMaintain accounting records and files in an organized mannerWho We Are:Bitzer Us Inc. is a leading manufacturer of key components used in commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It also requires time on the shop floor with machining, assembly, and material technicians. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk on the shop floor.
