This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our product roadmap and contribute to the future of connectivity.What you’ll doLead, mentor, and inspire software engineering team while conducting performance reviews and identifying development opportunitiesDrive agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and manage team workload to ensure efficient project delivery and meet deadlinesProvide technical guidance and architectural oversight for telecommunications software solutions, ensuring adherence to coding standards and security guidelinesOversee complete software development lifecycle from conception to deployment, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions that meet business objectivesCollaborate with product management, architects, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into actionable development plansOversee and manage third-party vendor providing scrum team resources, ensuring seamless integration and monitoring performance against KPIsChampion continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automated testing while identifying and mitigating technical risksStay current with emerging telecommunications technologies (5G, SDN, NFV, IoT) and industry trends to inform technical strategyFoster cross-functional collaboration and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular project updates and representing the team in technical decisionsQualificationsWhat you bringBachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.Proven experience with various programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C++) and development frameworks relevant to telecommunications.Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies.Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in an agile development environment.Great-to-havesStrong domain expertise within the telecommunications industry is highly desired, including experience with:Network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, SIP, Diameter, SS7)Telecom BSS/OSS systemsCloud-native architectures for telecom (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenStack)Wireless or wireline technologies (e.g., 5G, LTE, Fiber Optics)Network function virtualization (NFV) or software-defined networking (SDN)Real-time embedded systems experience in telecomCybersecurity best practices knowledge in telecommunications networksAI/ML applications experience in network automationMicroservices architecture and development experienceScrum master experience facilitating skilled development teamsSDN/SD-WAN certifications (VCP preferred) or cloud/virtualization platform knowledgeVendor and customer management experienceAdvanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position\’s main responsibilities given its national scope.Salary Range: $110,000-$166,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 20%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
