If you are ready to create unforgettable experiences and grow as a person and as a professional, apply today.Responsibilities:- Manage the operation and maintenance of all Walt Disney Theatre Show Control elementsincluding intelligent and generic lighting, video projection and control systems, pyrotechnic andspecial effects systems and other devices- Install, set-up and operate all Show Control Systems and equipment- Test, maintain and fire the Pyrotechnic and Laser systems in the Walt Disney Theatre andfor outdoor deck parties- Maintain the proper stock of show consumables.- Provide direction to the Stage Lighting/Special Effects Technician for the maintenance of allshow control equipment- Perform emergency abbreviated shows based on weather conditions, safety requirements,rehearsals and other altered technical requirements- Be an important contributor to the WDT Theatre Team with responsibilities for load in andload outs, Cast changeovers, new show installations, equipment tests, vendor support, moviepremiers and company eventsBasic Qualifications:- Minimum five years show production experience in a similar role, preferably as a MasterElectrician, Chief Electrician, or Show Control Systems operator- Experience with the programming, operation and maintenance of sophisticated theatrelighting systems, including moving lights- Proficiency with video projection systems, theatrical special effects, computerized showcontrol systems, show controllers, AMX and hard disk playback systems- Experience with grandMA lighting consoles- Can work at heights, with heavy equipment and in an environment with second-hand smoke,haze, fog, dry ice, and other special effectsAdditional Information:This is ashipboardroleYou must:Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vesselBe willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency responsibilities and associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly PlanBe willing to uphold the general safety management responsibilities as specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their controlIf applicable, be willing to share a confined cabin with other crew members and appreciative of working and living in a multicultural environment that has strict rules and regulationsYour Responsibilities:Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman\’s visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this)Complete a pre-employment medicalObtain a criminal background checkBring approved work shoesDisney Cruise Line is a drug-free workplace.
