Wherever Dräger products are used, it\’s about the most important thing: it\’s about life.About The RoleThis Role will predominantly cover Central Scotland and requires a self-motivated individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Working on the full range of products from the vast Draeger Safety portfolio and maintaining the companies Rental Robot portfolio through-out the UK.To perform workshop examination, test, service, repair, and calibration on the full range of products from the Draeger portable gas portfolio and the pre-rental preparation of Draeger Rental Equipment whilst ensuring client deadlines are met.To visit Customer sites around the Grangemouth area to perform routine maintenance or repairs on Draeger equipment.Exceptional housekeeping standards, keeping work areas clean & tidy whilst maintaining company assets & tools in accordance with company guidelines.Support Draeger TAR shutdown activites.Maintain accurate auditable ATEX register.Ensure required turnaround time are achieved for all repairs IAW agreed service level agreement.Complete all product and process training as advised by Contract Manager.Completion of all mandatory technical processes relating to the repairs as detailed in test certificates and service manuals.Preparation of technical repair reports as required by the customer.Completion of all service orders to ensure accurate quotation and invoice creation.Ensure correct reporting of spare parts to ensure stock accuracy is maintained at all times.Compliance with health and safety requirements within the workshop at all times.Take a proactive approach to improving workshop efficiency and safety.Understanding of COSHH requirements within workshop.Correct handling of all tooling.Flexible approach to other repair orientated tasks as required.Planned and unplanned shutdowns to be supported including occasional out of hours and weekend working.Shared ResponsibilitiesAll employees have a responsibility:To comply with the Business Information Centre (BIC) and minimise any impact on the environment whilst carrying out their duties.To ensure and promote safe working conditions for all employees, visitors and contractors by implementing, monitoring and complying with occupational health & safety provisions.To embed our WeLEAD competencies – I build trust, I create value for the customer, I enable others, I provide direction, I embrace diversity, I deliver results.Reporting RelationshipsManager – Grangemouth Contract ManagerSize of team/environment – A small team predominantly supporting INEOS contracts covering the portable gas detection set up throughout Scotland including scheduled and unscheduled shutdown support.Your QualificationsRole RequirementsEducation/QualificationsThe candidate would preferably be qualified in a related area such as, electronic, electrical, computer or mechanical engineering, or relevant experience with a desire to learnRelated ExperienceExperience in Inspection and Repair of Fixed & Portable Gas Detection and Shutdown Management is preferrable.Skills, Special CompetenciesReliable, honest & trustworthy and act as an ambassador for the companyExcellent technical, diagnostic and repair skillsConfident in dealing with colleagues and customers effectivelyGreat team player but can work just as effectively individuallyStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Diplomacy and tactFull driving licenseThe Dräger WorkplaceDräger‘s Benefits27 days holiday plus bank holidays, with option to purchase up to 3 additional days.Discounted critical illness cover, dental cover, and partner life assuranceHealthcare cash planDiscounted shopping & leisure voucherGym membership discounts – up to 25%Charity Giving schemeDräger‘s dedicationAt Dräger we have a clear vision, to be an organisation with a working environment that includes a diverse mix of talented people who want to come, stay and grow.We ensure candidates with the required qualifications and experience will be considered for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.All are welcome to apply!.Who We AreFrom hospitals to fire departments to industrial customers, people around the world rely on our products: cutting-edge technology that combines real engineering with the digital future.
