Applicants must possess recent work experience gained from a practice environment.The primary responsibility of the role is to undertake monitoring of individuals and firms registered in the UK and Ireland to conduct audit work.As part of the Compliance Team, the post holder will be responsible for undertaking monitoring of a portfolio of individuals and firms registered by this professional membership body in the UK to conduct audit work. This involves carrying out monitoring visits to the firms’ premises or remotely in accordance with prescribed procedures and producing written reports on those visits on a timely basis.You will be responsible for organising your own work schedule from a predetermined allocation of monitoring visits in order to meet departmental targets.You will enjoy working independently and having control of your own diary, whilst feeling supported. You will have significant professional autonomy.- London based candidates: up to £75k- Rest of UK: up to £70k- Benefits include: up to 9% employer pension contribution; private healthcare; flexi time and flexi leaveLocation:- This role can be either hybrid based from London OR Glasgow offices, or UK remote-based from home.- Some visits to practices (circa. 10% of the time).
