The Senior Business Associate is responsible for strategic planning, operational oversight, risk management, and communication to optimize vendor performance and mitigate risks. This role may also coordinate and manage business financials, employee headcount, and ad hoc projects as needed.What You\’ll DoServe as the primary point of contact for assigned vendors, building strong, collaborative relationshipsConduct regular performance reviews, addressing issues and monitoring KPIs/SLAsFacilitate communication between stakeholders and vendors for alignment and transparencyManage vendor contracts, ensuring favourable terms and maintaining a contract repositoryMonitor contract expirations and collaborate with Sourcing/Legal/Business/Risk teams for extensions and amendmentsReview and approve vendor invoices for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to pricing agreements; resolve discrepanciesMonitor vendor spending against the allocated budget, proactively addressing variances and preparing budget reportsConduct cost analyses to identify opportunities for optimization, savings, and efficiencyEnsure compliance with internal policies/regulations; participate in audits and provide documentationCreate Purchase Orders and oversee the timely and accurate processing of vendor paymentsAssess risks, ensure compliance with laws/regulations, and report on exposuresEnsure vendor compliance with policies and track/report risk exposuresDevelop and maintain performance dashboards, analyse data for trends, and create reports for management review.Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements through data analysisIdentify and implement process enhancements for vendor management, document procedures, and stay updated on industry best practicesCollaborate with stakeholders, communicate updates, and facilitate meetings.What we\’ll need from youRelevant experience in a fast-paced, large global financial services firm (Operations/Finance/Accounting preferred).Experience with Resources @ Citi, P2P, and Fieldglass is advantageous.Demonstrable experience in third-party management is preferred.Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive.Self-reliant, good problem solver, results-oriented with attention to detail.Ability to establish and build trust with professionals throughout the business.Strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise.Strong risk management and control mindset.Evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations.What we can offer youWe work hard to have a positive financial and social impact on the communities we serve.
