This role will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds—including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CRM Core, and, ideally, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Loyalty Management. You will also be responsible for leading and performance managing other developers.Key Responsibilities· Lead the architecture and hands-on development of scalable Salesforce solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds.· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical designs.· Guide the development team, provide technical direction, and conduct code reviews.· Performance manage and mentor Salesforce developers.· Develop custom applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.· Integrate Salesforce with external systems via APIs and middleware solutions.· Ensure compliance with Salesforce security best practices, enterprise architecture, and data governance.· Support CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment processes.· Stay current on Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends.Knowledge, Skills, and experience required· 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with multi-cloud exposure (Sales, Service, CRM Core).· 3+ years performance managing salesforce developers· Experience or familiarity with Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Loyalty Management is highly desirable.· Expertise in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.· Strong understanding of Salesforce automation tools (Flows, Workflow Rules, Process Builder, Approval Processes).· Experience with third-party integrations and API design (REST/SOAP).· Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes (Git, Gearset, Copado, etc.).· Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certified.· Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer; Development Lifecycle & Deployment Designer and/ or Platform App Builder certified preferred· Proven leadership experience in team management and performance management.· Strong communication skills and the ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams.Person Specification· Strategic Communicator: Able to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and influence outcomes.· Team Leader: Supports and mentors others while fostering a positive, delivery-focused culture.· Organized and Proactive: Manages competing priorities and drives delivery forward.· Collaborative: Works effectively across a multidisciplinary Salesforce team.· Analytical Thinker: Brings clarity to complex problems and proposes practical solutions.· Adaptable: Thrives in dynamic environments and embraces continuous learning.· Lifelong Learner: Committed to ongoing personal and professional development, staying current with emerging technologies and Salesforce advancements.Collinson is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes differences in all their forms including: colour, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, neurodivergence, family status, age, individuals with disabilities and people from all backgrounds, cultures and experiences as we strongly believe this contributes to our on-going success.We are focused on continually evolving our purpose driven, high performing culture, providing an environment where our people have the opportunity to achieve their full potential and do interesting and meaningful work.
