The employee works two 12 hour shifts per week as a dispatcher (7 AM to 7 PM), and two 8 hour shifts per week as a safety officer (3 PM to 11 PM). The position requires working every-other weekend on a rotating basis. Dispatcher duties include answering phones, assisting customers at the dispatch window, coordinating radio transmissions between employees, and maintaining a log of all Safety interventions.
