Are you a highly committed individual wanting to make a difference and support the improvement of mental wellbeing in Derby and Derbyshire? Supported Self-Help is an early intervention service co-produced between national Mind and local Minds and informed by lived experience. This programme will be delivered across Derbyshire, solely by Derbyshire Mind and is funded by a National Lottery Grant, subject to achieving stated outcomes, for the next three years. The postholder will carry their own caseload of clients and will provide support to them virtually via Teams or over the phone with the option to see local clients face-to-face in Derby, working proactively with individuals to support them via a facilitated self-help approach. This role involves managing a caseload of Supported Self-Help clients, delivering structured support to individuals experiencing early signs of mental health distress such as anxiety, depression, and bereavement. Key responsibilities include engaging clients effectively, signposting to additional resources, collaborating with community partners, and staying informed on relevant treatments and policies, whilst ensuring services meet performance targets. Derbyshire Mind is your local independent mental health charity.
