We are a diverse team of over 150 practitioners, working collaboratively with and orchestrating KPMG’s broad set of capabilities within our Deal Advisory business.What will you be doing?Act as a credible client liaison on KPMG engagements, often taking a “specialist” role with a view to develop long term client relationships; act as an \’ambassador\’ for the firmDesign and run small- to mid-sized projects and / or larger more complex workstreams – extensive experience of deal-related projects will be critical, e.g. Commercial DD, M&A Strategy, Value creation etcProduce client-ready deliverables that exceed expectations and require minimal reviewTake initiative to develop creative and innovative solutions to complex problems and deliver these within the context of the team and client requirementsDesign and execute detailed financial / business models performing complex scenario and sensitivity analysis; also guide junior team members to reach right-first-time outputAct as a coach and mentor to junior team members – on and outside of projects – ensuring that they learn on the job and progress in their careersProvide timely feedback and coaching to other team membersTake pro-active role in thought leadership and knowledge management activitiesSupport the practice by proactively getting involved in internal practice matters and business development initiatives, and taking responsibilities for these moving forwardBe aware of and take suitable level of responsibility that the firm\’s risk management frameworks are adhered toWhat will you need to do it?Proven experience working in a leading strategy consulting business, Big 4 firm or strategy / corporate development team in industryStrong foundational understanding of the value drivers across the Media sectorExperience of leading workstreams and/or smaller projects: designing work plans, team structures and managing these to excellent client output and, where relevant, strong financial returnsThis should include experience of recent M&A transactions, eg CDD, VDD, M&A Strategy or Value Creation projects in the Media sectorEvidence involvement developing proposals, scopes and pricing for small and mid-sized consulting assignmentsExperience of holding supporting roles in business development activity, helping the team deliver client ready pitches and generating differentiated insightsAbility to work effectively and collaboratively with team members and broader stakeholdersTrack record of building relationships with team members, wider colleagues and clientsExamples of internal responsibilities on topics like team management, technical tool insight, liaison with service suppliers etcSkills we’d love to see/Amazing Extras:Strong academic track recordEvidence of strong problem-solving & analytical capabilitiesStructured thinking skills combined with creativityAbility to evaluate complex challenges and deliver insightful recommendations that can be practically executedAbility to review and assess large volumes of technical data and distil the key strategic insightsStrong numerical capabilities combined with sound commercial acumenAbility to build complex financial models that support our recommendations to clientsExcellent written and oral communication skillsOther language skills would be a strong bonusOur Locations:We are open to talk to Strategy talent across the country but our core hubs for this role is:London Canary WharfWith 20 sites across the UK, we can potentially facilitate office work, working from home, flexible hours, and part-time options.
