Applies advanced technical expertise to ensure top quality and profitability on projects.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesExperience with Json, Resx, Vtt, HTML, XML (various types from different systems), Madcap Flare, Dita, Articulate, mp4, Captivate, etc.Experience with CAT/TMS tools preferred (Wordbee, SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ, Memsource/Phrase, XTM, etc.)Experience with Content Management Systems (Tridion, ST4)Troubleshooting localization and translation projects throughout their lifecyclePerforming and managing localization engineering tasksConverting formats to translatable files and backExperience with parsers and scriptingGuiding project teams and external engineers on application conversion stepsResolving tag issues in translated filesKnowledge of programming languages (Python, C++, C#)Suggesting process automation and new toolsUpdating configuration/settings in TMS/CAT tools based on process updatesWorking efficiently in fast-paced environmentsMeeting tight deadlinesStrong communication and collaboration skillsManaging multiple projects effectivelyUnderstanding language and cultural nuancesCertification in localization engineering or related fields (preferred)Technical Expertise:Utilizes localization engineering technical and professional knowledge, skills, and judgment to achieve results.Education & Experience Required:Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent, with relevant academic or vocational qualifications.
