Job DescriptionMaintenance Technician – Grade 1Job Overview:As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and buildings. Your responsibilities include maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment and assisting with special projects. Tasks include groundskeeping, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and machinery repairs.Your main goal is to keep facilities, common areas, and machinery in good condition. Successful maintenance technicians pay attention to detail, have good manual skills, and solve problems effectively.Shift: 2nd Shift (hours may vary based on facility needs)Must train on 1st shift for 2 weeks or until training is complete (Monday-Thursday 6 am – 3 pm, Friday 6 am – Noon)Hours: 3:00 PM – 2:00 AMOccasional weekendsPay: $26.25 per hourFacilities Maintenance Responsibilities:Inspect building, HVAC, electrical systems, grounds, and machinery.
