They collaborate with lead researchers and organisations to enhance the understanding of immunological, oncological, neurological and other disease areas.Based in Alderley Park, they are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join their Biomarker team as a Temporary Scientist for an initial 3 month spell of projects owing to increased business demand. If you are looking to work on exciting pre-clinical and clinical Histology projects and want to further your career, then this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.The RoleThis is a role for experienced Histologists who hold a PhD (or Master’s) in a biologically focused discipline, with additional Histology (FFPE / frozen tissues) experience in industry or academia.As a Temporary Histology Scientist, you will be responsible for:Project autonomy – planning, running and reporting projects from start to finish.Running projects with pre-clinical (in vivo) and clinical (human) samples across a range of disease areas including oncology and neurodegenerative.Conducting sample preparation to create FFPEs and Frozen tissue samples.
