Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services is currently seeking to hire a Systems Engineer: F-15 USAF Government Training Engineering (GTE) Principal Engineer located in Hazelwood, Missouri. The selected candidate will join the F-15 Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE) and will be responsible for the design, development, manufacture, integration, testing, delivery and maintenance of pilot and maintenance training devices for a program in the F-15 USAF portfolio.Senior Principal Engineers are responsible for the overall design and safety of all F-15 USAF Trainer products. Your role includes technical leadership and a strong desire to get the job done. You will be collaborating with the engineering teams and program management to maintain a common vision and deliver winning products.Position ResponsibilitiesOverall technical execution and technical excellence of the programOverall safety of all F-15 USAF Trainer productsOversight and final authority on specification, configuration, design, and certification/validation of the productProvide senior technical leadership for the program and associated program proposals and be the senior technical interface to customers and suppliersCollaborate with the technical leadership team consisting of Chief Engineers, System Architects and Product Managers.Play an integral role in the development of the Statement of Work (SOW) and estimates to meet the requirements of our customers.Establish a culture of proactive technical oversight, risk management and rapid issue resolution, providing alternative paths for issue resolution and driving dialogue on technical issuesThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Hazelwood, MO.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role.9+ years of experience in engineeringExperience developing and tracking program plans/schedules and budgets for technical projects.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role.14+ years of experience in engineeringRisk management experienceProficient with Excel, Work, PowerPointExperience with Microsoft ProjectExperience with flight simulationExperience with Training Systems and/or Boeing military aircraft platformsExperience working within a SAFe Agile teamDrug Free WorkplaceBoeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria are met as outlined in our policies .At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
