The successful Controls Engineer will need to have recent knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal including WinCC. The Controls Engineer role could suit someone with around 5 years experience.Key aspects of the Controls Engineer role include;Recent and demonstrable experience of Siemens TIA Portal and WinCCThe successful Controls Engineer will learn and ultimately be responsible for system configuration, including PLC code and WinCC SCADA configurations to meet project requirements.Will be mentored by a seasoned, high calibre Controls Engineer – key to be committed to learning, developing and putting into practice what’s been taughtRole will be mainly office basedProduce project documentation including Functional Design Specifications, Project Specific Drawings, Design Risk Assessments, Test Procedures, Operator / Maintenance manuals and Training manualsAny knowledge of scripting and/or C++ would be beneficialExperience with PLC communications including PROFIBUS, Industrial Ethernet, Profinet or ModBus – nice to haveThe Controls Engineer role will involve occasional international travel and therefore applicants should not be subject to any travel restrictionsIt’s estimated the successful Controls Engineer time will be split between working in the office and on site to be 70/30 with 80% of all site work being based in the UK.The client’s premises are commutable from Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington, St Helens, Runcorn, Widnes, Stockport and the surrounding areas.Please apply today for an immediate response.Sign up here to hear about the hottest new job opportunities on the market that are specific to you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
