We’re currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our team based in Derby. This role will involve the delivery of mains water supplies and general yard duties when not on delivery runs. The ideal candidate will hold a Class 2 (Category C) licence and ideally a HIAB licence – although HIAB training can be provided for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:• Safely operate Class 2 vehicles to deliver mains water supplies to various customer locations.• Conduct pre-use vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness at all times.• Use of a HIAB crane for safe loading/unloading of materials (training can be provided).• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.• Support with general yard duties, including loading/unloading materials, stock checks, and keeping the yard tidy.• Work as part of a team to meet daily operational needs.• Participate in a flexible call-out rota, including weekend work when required.• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.Requirements:• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.• HIAB licence preferred – training can be provided.• Previous experience in a similar delivery or driver role is an advantage.• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.• Willingness to be flexible with working hours, including participation in a call-out rota.Desirable:• Experience working in a yard or construction-based environment.• Knowledge of the water supply industry or utility
