Our mission is to contribute to help more people and business prosper.What You Will Be DoingThe role encompasses assisting the FIG head for Netherlands in managing client relationships with banks, insurers and asset managers. You will help in originating transactions and assisting product teams across the three main pillars of investment banking namely, Global Banking, Markets and Global Transaction Banking. The successful candidate must (i) be eager to work on projects in a large, diverse, and global organization within a challenging and dynamic business environment and (ii) demonstrate intellectual curiosity in understand the product offerings across DCM, Securitisation, Acquisition Finance, Structured Finance, derivatives, FX, etc.We need someone like you to help us on different fronts:Play a key role in supporting FIG team in managing relationships for institutional clients based in NetherlandsSupport in originating and executing transactions across the three pillar: Global Banking, Markets and Transaction Banking.Preparing client business plans, monitoring performance in terms of client profitability and absolute revenue targets as well as internal portfolio managementDraft presentations for internal and external purposes in collaboration with product teamsEnsure that your clients are approved on credit risk level (annual review of each account’s credit lines or adhoc requests) and regulatory (KYC, MIFID II etc) processes liaising with the dedicated teamsPerforming financial and strategic business analysis on sectors, competitors and clientsPro-actively manage compliance and non-financial risksExperienceMinimum of 1-2 years relevant experience in investment banking at top tier international bankEDUCATIONBachelor’s degree required (preferably Master’s degree); strong academic track record and preferably in business administration, finance, accounting and/or economicsSkills & KnowledgeStrong analytical and quantitative skillsExperience in Investment Banking, Capital Markets or Treasury Products (including internships)Demonstrated working knowledge of key products (such as capital markets, derivatives, cash management or securitisation)Proven ability to meet deadlines while paying attention to detailsProficiency in PowerPoint and ExcelCoverage of Financial Institutions is a plusLanguages – Fluency in English and Dutch.
