Role: Speech & Language Therapist – Brain Injury RehabilitationBanding: Band 6/7Location: Stoke-on-TrentSalary: £45,000.00 – £49,920.00 per annumThe AHP team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our dynamic Neurological Centre, currently being developed as a neuro-behavioural hospital service for men and women over 18 years with acquired brain injuries. Our centre is dedicated to supporting individuals with challenging and complex needs, helping them progress through a specialized neuro-behavioural rehabilitation programme.Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:You will facilitate therapeutic group sessions to help individuals improve their speech and communication skills. You will build rapport with service users, encouraging their engagement and empowering their recovery. You will utilize your specialist skills to manage complex cases, considering cultural and linguistic differences, and develop appropriate strategies for caseload management. You will conduct audits and contribute to research to enhance treatment provision.
